Vienza Intelligence ("we," "us," "our") operates vienzaintelligence.com and the chat assistant on this site. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. It covers visitors worldwide and includes disclosures specific to California (CCPA/CPRA) and the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland (GDPR/UK GDPR).

1. Information we collect

• Chat content. Messages you send to the on-site assistant. The assistant is powered by Google Gemini, and your messages are sent to Google's API to generate a reply.
• Lead form data. First name, last name, email, and any note you provide when you ask Helia to reach out. If you close the chat without submitting the form, we may send an anonymous transcript so we can improve the assistant.
• Technical data. IP address, user agent, referring URL, and pages visited. Logged by Cloudflare for security and abuse prevention.
• Analytics. Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless and aggregate.

2. How we use information

• To respond to chat messages and lead requests.
• To send transactional email (lead notifications) via Resend.
• To detect abuse and protect the service.
• To improve the assistant and the site.

We do not sell personal information. We do not use your data to train third-party AI models beyond what Google Gemini does as a service provider under its enterprise terms.

3. Service providers (processors)

• Google (Gemini API). Processes chat messages to generate replies. Subject to Google's API terms and data-processing addendum.
• Cloudflare. Hosts the site (Pages), runs the Functions that handle /api/chat and /api/lead, and provides cookieless analytics and security.
• Resend. Sends transactional email when a lead is submitted.

4. Retention

Lead form submissions are retained until you request deletion or until they are no longer relevant for follow-up, whichever is sooner. Chat transcripts associated with a lead are kept on the same schedule. Anonymous transcripts and short-lived request logs are retained up to 90 days.

5. International transfers

If you access the site from outside the United States, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States by our service providers. Google, Cloudflare, and Resend offer Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms for EEA, UK, and Swiss data.

6. California rights (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, you have the right to:

• Know what personal information we collect about you.
• Request a copy of your personal information.
• Request deletion of your personal information.
• Request correction of inaccurate personal information.
• Limit the use of sensitive personal information.
• Opt out of any "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information.
• Be free from retaliation for exercising these rights.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@vienzaintelligence.com with "CCPA Request" in the subject. We will verify your identity using the email on file and respond within 45 days.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under CCPA/CPRA. If our practices change, this section and the footer link will update first. Until then, no opt-out is required because nothing is being sold or shared for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. European rights (GDPR/UK GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, UK, or Switzerland, our lawful bases for processing are:

• Consent for non-essential cookies and any optional features.
• Legitimate interest for security, abuse prevention, and improving the assistant.
• Contract / pre-contract for processing your lead form data so Helia can reach out.

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to processing, and to portability. To exercise any of these rights, email info@vienzaintelligence.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The site uses a small set of cookies and similar storage:

• Strictly necessary: Cloudflare security cookies. Always on.
• Analytics: Cloudflare Web Analytics, which is cookieless. No tracking cookie is set.
• Functional: Local storage for your cookie preference and the chat state on this device.

You can clear cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.

9. AI-generated content

The on-site assistant uses Google Gemini to generate replies. Responses may be inaccurate or out of date. The assistant is not a substitute for professional advice. Treat any specific recommendation as a starting point, not as legal, tax, medical, or financial guidance.

10. Security

We use HTTPS with HSTS, a strict Content Security Policy, permissions policy, and Cloudflare WAF in front of the site. Secrets are stored encrypted in Cloudflare Pages environment variables. No system is perfectly secure, but we apply the controls that are appropriate for a small team.

11. Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent change. Material changes will be flagged at the top of the page for at least 30 days.
